The name is Kerrene. I am a daughter, sister, friend, and my husband's 'darl'; a traveling educator who is super into illustrative design and photographing beautiful, simple things. Obsessed with: podcasts, cosy bowls of yum veg, and living out of a suitcase. Along the way, I write and live a little. Keep reading for a sneak peek!

You have arrived to my little nook where cosy porridge and buddha bowls live their best lives, where a life of connection and exploration is shared. And, man! I'm so happy you found yourself here.

Somewhere along my journey, I fell for writing, photography, and illustration. Oh yes, and my dreamy blue-eyed Aussie bloke too. And somehow, this introverted, homebody girl has lived in all corners of the world along the way. With a cuppa by my side from somewhere in this world, I will write to you in a real way about all the things.

Being a Seattle-native, I love a good mountain, but I'm a coastal person through and through (anyone else need that sea-level air to feel alive?). We like to say we are travelers not tourists, seeing the world from off-the-beaten path. We've ridden that overnight bus across Europe, been without phones for months, and spent more time in small English towns than London. And, we're better for it.

Our life together is evolving and taking us to beautiful places. We are evolving and learning something new each day. Isn't that a wonder? I love that we live in an age of sharing our experiences and personal challenges. No matter how many I see, a photo of a cuppa is always so dang beautiful because, to me, it represents a moment of pause and living.

I hope you're inspired to think a little more deeply about hard things and exciting things. Make that buddha bowl with fermented veg, yummy hummus, and gorgeous local greens. Plan that trip outside of the big cities. Be your best self and live fully present, wherever your journey takes you.  So, cosy up because we're going places.
