Where do I book a planning call?
If you have not done so already, you can book a complimentary 15-minute planning call with me here. How long is a session?
Sessions run for up to 90 minutes from your booked start time.
What should we wear?
We will discuss this in your planning call. As a baseline, I always recommend going for a comfortable, everyday look that feels like you. Subtle colour coordination is recommended.
You can look through my gallery of images for inspiration.
Note: Please avoid wearing bright white. A soft ivory is acceptable. What if we're running late?
Your session will still finish at the scheduled time, so we don't lose the best light or delay the next family. If we're the ones running late, we'll make up the time.Where can sessions be held?
Anywhere across the Perth metropolitan area. For locations outside the metro area, we'll quote a travel fee for you to agree to before your session. You're responsible for making sure we can access the location and for any permits or entry fees it requires. What if my kids (or pets) don't cooperate?
That's completely fine. We love real, relaxed sessions and never expect kids or pets to be perfect. Parents and guardians stay responsible for supervising children and pets throughout. Is there anything I should tell you beforehand?
Yes. Please mention anything in your booking form that could affect safety or comfort, such as mobility needs, allergies or anxieties. We'll take reasonable care during your session, and may pause or end it if conditions become unsafe. -
When will I get my photos?
Within 4 weeks of your session, you'll receive a curated online gallery of professionally edited images. Can I get the RAW or unedited files?
No. All images are edited in our signature style, and RAW or unedited files are not provided. How long is my gallery available?
Your online gallery is available for 60 days. Please download and back up your images during that time, as we can't guarantee files are kept afterwards. What can I do with my photos?
You receive a personal-use licence, so you can:Print them
Share them on social media
Gift them to family and friends
We keep the copyright to all images. Please don't edit, filter or crop them in a way that changes their style, or use them commercially, without our written permission. Tagging me when you share is always appreciated!
Will you share my photos publicly?Only if you've agreed to it in your booking form, and you can change your mind any time by letting us know. We never share children's full names, your address or identifying location details. Your personal information is used only to deliver your session and is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What happens if my film photos don’t turn out?
You won’t pay for them. Film is a hands-on process, and occasionally a camera fault, light leak or lab processing error can affect a roll. If your film images are lost, damaged or unusable after processing, we’ll refund your film fee in full. Your digital session and gallery aren’t affected. Is some grain or softness normal with film?
Yes. Grain, softness and small variations between frames are part of film’s natural character, so they don’t count as a failed roll. -
When is my session confirmed?
As soon as your booking is complete and your session fee is paid in full.Do your prices include GST?
Yes, all prices include GST where applicable. -
Can I reschedule my session?
Yes. You can reschedule once for free with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. Changes made with less than 48 hours' notice are treated as a cancellation.

Sessions are held outdoors or on location in natural light. If rain, extreme heat (above 35°C) or strong wind makes the session unsafe or unsuitable, we'll reschedule at no charge. The photographer makes the final call, usually the day before.
What if you need to cancel?
If illness, an emergency or circumstances beyond our control mean we can't attend, we'll offer you a new date first. If that doesn't suit, we'll refund everything you've paid.
